This page explains how FirePDF uses cookies and similar technologies. Last updated: 8 October 2026.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way.
What FirePDF itself stores
- No tracking cookies of our own. FirePDF does not use analytics and does not set its own cookies.
- Local storage: a small cached copy of the site’s public settings (such as contact details), kept for a few minutes so pages load faster. It holds no personal data and never includes your files.
- Offline cache: if you install FirePDF as an app or your browser enables it, a service worker stores the page and open-source libraries on your device so the tools can work offline. You can clear this in your browser’s site settings.
Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
FirePDF shows ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to FirePDF and other sites on the internet. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent first.
Your choices
- Opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings or at aboutads.info.
- Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. The tools will keep working.
