Good to know
- Scanned PDFs have no text to convert, so those pages come through as pictures. FirePDF does not currently offer OCR.
- Always check headings, table borders and page breaks after converting.

Will the layout match exactly?
Often closely, but a PDF does not store paragraphs or tables the way Word does, so complex layouts may need tidying.
Does it work on scanned documents?
Scanned pages stay as images. Text recognition (OCR) is not available yet.
Is the Word file free of watermarks?
Yes.
Privacy
This tool runs inside your browser. Your file is read into your device’s memory, processed there and handed back as a download. It is not sent to a FirePDF server.
